Business Migration
If you are interested in setting up an office, purchasing an Australian business or settling in Australia as an investor, you may be eligible for an Australian Business visa.
Business visas include:
- Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) – Subclass 188
- Business Innovation and Investment (Residence) – Subclass 888
- Business Talent Visa (Permanent) – Subclass 132
Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa – Subclass 188
The Subclass 188 visa has 5 streams:
- Business Innovation - for applicants who are business owners and seeking to set up a business in Australia
- Investor – for applicants who are willing to invest AUD 1.5 million in Australian State or Territory bonds
- Significant Investor – for applicants with successful business and investment expertise to invest AUD 5 million into complying investments in Australia
- Premium Investor – for applicants with significant financial backing who are willing to invest at least AUD 15 million into complying premium investments in Australia
- Entrepreneur – for applicants who have approved funding from a third party for at least AUD 200,000 to commence a complying entrepreneur activity in Australia
Holders of the above streams may be eligible for the Business Innovation and Investment (Residence) visa - Subclass 888 after meeting certain requirements.
Business Talent (Residence) visa – Subclass 132:
This is a permanent visa with 2 available streams:
- Significant Business History Stream – for applicants with ownership interest in large business operations
- Venture Capital Entrepreneur Stream – for applicants who have access to venture capital funding of at least AUD 1 million
The Business Talent (Residence) Subclass 132 visa is only available to applicants who are nominated by an Australian State or Territory government.
